Husky - Large - Adult - Male - Dog - Limo
Description
From Limo's foster trainer: Limo is probably around 8 years old now and is neutered. He is rather large--about 57 pounds. Limo is a little shy at times. He is a Husky/Pointer cross from competitive sprint bloodlines. Limo is rather short coated. Limo is trained in harness and loves it. He has experience running mid-distance races, sprint racing, and skijoring. Limo's preferred gait is a trot and he can keep this gait even at high rates of speed--probably around 17mph. Limo has never held a lope for more than 3 to 4 miles of any run with me. Although, once or twice a season he might lope more than he trots for the entire run. This is why he is not suitable for Adult sprint races. Limo would be great for Junior Mushers running the 3 or 4 dog class or maybe with a coat the Jr. Quest or Iditarod. Limo would also be great for a recreational musher or someone new to the sport. Limo has never spent much time in the house, he is not house trained.
