Shih Tzu - Small - Adult - Male - Dog - Dawson

Dawson is a VERY sweet and snuggly 5 year old Shih Tzu. He'll need a home with no small children. He is very well house trained and goes to the door to let you know. He doesn't particularly like to be groomed, but a good, professional groomer shouldn't have any problems. He absolutely loves to go for walks and car rides. 5 years old is young for a small dog! If you have a tender spot in your heart for these wonderful, affectionate little guys, come meet him! Adoption fee: $300.00. We must do this to offset the enormous vet bills that we are incurring for the dogs that we are taking in and the increase in normal veterinary fees. Dogs and puppies adopted from Homeward Bound come from home environments, as we utilize foster homes rather than operating a shelter. The animals are always vet checked, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated, and all are spayed or neutered. Excellent pre and post adoption support is available to answer any questions you might have regarding care, behavior and training.
